Expanded Cohabitation

The mod aims to expand the list of cohabitation for the game animals, both with species they can and cannot co-exist. These changes are mostly based of what species they did co-exit in reality aswell as in the franchise, this means you will see changes such as Brachiosaurus liking other sauropods it lived it or Stegosaurus and Kentrosaurus liking each other. These changes do not only affect harbivores but carnivores aswell, these now like to cohabit with their preferred prey, although these in return don't tend to like them, for example Tyrannosaurus likes to cohabit with ceratopsians but some of these like Triceratops ain't fans of living with their main predator.

Expanded Mixed Territories

Using the option introduced with the Indominus and Velociraptor cohabitation the mod also makes other species able to share territories and move in groups aswell. Dinosaurs like Parasaurolophus and Corythosaurus not only like to cohabit but will also share the same territory and move in mixed herds. Feel free to experiment with wich species can share territories

Installation.

Simply drag the folder inside the zip into your ovldata, is a fully standalone mod.

IMPORTANT

  • Why does a dino both like and dislike another? This is due the nature of how standalone fdb mods work, sadly in order to make some species be able to cohabit ingame with a standalone mod  one has to do this, but don't worry, the game prioritizes positive chobatitation over negative, this mean although it shows for example, in the mod Torosaurus and Triceratops both disliking and liking each other the game will ignore the negative cohabit in favor of the positive one.
  • Could you make x dino dislike/like y dino? Depends, if they specifically like each other in the default game, example, making Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus dislike each other, this cannot be done on a standalone mod for the reasons stated in the previous comment, the game simply will prioritize them liking each other over the dislike. Making a species dislike another is only possible when the specie in question dislikes a group rather than a specific specie. All of this obviously makes it easier to expand the likes of the ingame animals rather than the dislikes for some of them.
  • Something important to take into consideration is that this mod WILL be getting updates, this based of players feedback aswell as game updates.
