*Tested* All dinos actually do eat from the ornamental and otherwise modified plants, and recognize forests added by seed/fruit plants. :)
Do note that you may need to let your freshly released dinos establish territory before the full value of the additions are recognized, just like in the base game.
All biome forests now additionally offers Tall fiber, Ground Fiber, and Ground Leaf
Fruit/Nut trees are still the only vegetation that produce these food types (to preserve game mechanics) but are now useful with added forest/fiber/leaves.
Paleo Forests (i.e. decorative Tempskya, Calamites) offer Forest, and either fiber or leaves in tall/ground based on their appearance.
New options in desert builds!
- Cactus foliage now offer cactus fruit. Ornamental 'shrubs' offer ground fiber. Grassland 'shrubs' (the tall palms in dessert biomes) offer fiber/leaf.
Oregon wildflower fields (ornamental) now offer ground fiber, making them useful and not just beautiful in enclosures.
Standard ground fiber/ground leaf unchanged to preserve balance.
Amounts of forest/fiber/etc are standardized to 1 (full value) for all foliage types.
If you felt like you needed to pile on a specific foliage brush sometimes to achieve a happy dinosaur, you were right. The game should now feel more consistent in dinos being happy with the amounts you put in an enclosure.
Works with Kai Core 1.7.2 and ACSE
