    Blue's baby seems to have a thicker, more robust or boxier snout. Maybe it is a hybrid between Blue and an Atrociraptor? Since they have the same boxy snout. Edit: I no longer believe in this theory.

      ah yes, the mommy raptor and the daddy atrociraptor made the Blutrociraptor.

      No, Beta(Blue's Baby) doesn't have a father. Blue reproduced asexually, just like the Scorpios rex did.

      Weirdly enough the Jurassic park (Fan) Wiki supports both our theories, Beta | Jurassic Park Wiki | Fandom (Trivia section) so if you could link a source of your own that would be nice. As far as I've seen the parthenogenesis theory is not proven yet, again, I assume you have a source since you seem very confident in it. Was just throwing my own theory out there, no need to ridicule someone for having a different opinion. Anyway, it seems we will all have to wait until the movie comes out for confirmation then.

      If Beta was an atrociraptor hybrid they would look different, not almost identical to blue. Also the JP wiki isn't always the best source for information, for example some unconfirmed is stated as fact (for example limbo was referred to as a male when we don't have any knowledge on the genders of chaos and limbo.)

      In Jurassic World Aftermath (a canon game) said that Blue had monitor lizard dna. Some Monitor species are known to be able to reproduce asexually. Also you can just look at Beta and see that she is nearly identical to blue.

      I agree, I couldn't find anything on black-throated monitors parthenogenesis specifically but it would seem more likely than the hybrid/cross-breed idea.

      I mean, life finds away.
      Even if the DNA that Wu added from a black throated monitor didn't really allow for parthenogenesis, some of the genetic work that he did to make Blue happen could have led to this.
      I'm not even sure that he knew just how special Blue would be.
      The fact that she could start a family on her own, and be the perfect mother, and create offpring on her own is another curve in the dragon of Ingen's genetic history.

      Still don't understand why Wu hates asymmetry when he loves Blue for some reason even though Blue's pattern is asymmetrical... But hey, I guess Blue is a special case.

      It would have made more sense if Bumpy was the first case, but Blue had been alive for probably two years.

    See, thats what I always found stupid as a scenario and all films more or less went that way: Dinosaurs are still animals and they quite literally have 0 chance of survival.

    One decently equipped hunter could wipe out every fricking dinosaur in an entire region in a couple of years.

    They have trouble finding a t-rex at night? How about some fricking thermal cameras? It doesn't make even the slightest bit of sense...

    Meh, but what am I expecting of Jurassic World....

    I am honestly hyped for this movie. At first I was like 'Yeah nice. Nice.'
    Then I saw Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler and the whole trailer got better.

    God, I just want the plot to be good, please, oh please just let this have a good plot/story.

      At LEAST good characters.
      You can a crazy premise, but the audience needs good characters to hold onto, to relate to during the crazy ride that is this globtrotting film about dinosaurs and corporate warfare.
