I Can't Believe It's Not Vanilla!
Why this mod was made:
The rate at which workers must refill vanilla Automatic Grain Silos makes them hardly automatic.
If you've never used an Automatic Grain Silo before, trust me, you'll find out.
What this mod does:
Automatic Grain Silos can now hold more Wheatstraw/Strawflour.
Once it's filled up with grain, the worker won't have to come back to it for a while - making it feel more like a real grain silo.
General Tips:
- Give large backpacks to workers hauling loads.
Methods for faster grain storage: (there may be more efficient methods out there which I haven't discovered)
Method 1) Place Grain Silos close to where the Strawflour is stored. Place Wheatstraw Storage right next to (literally) the Grain Silo without blocking access to it.
Method 2) Actual Wheatsraw Storage may not be necessary using the following method: After turning off the power to an Automatic Grain Silo (or if the Silo is closer to the farm than the storage is, etc.) I noticed the workers used it to store Wheatstraw. After they fill it with Wheatstraw, you can simply turn the power on.
Installation:
This mod comes with 4 different versions, choose one.
5x (125 Wheatstraw, 25 Strawflour) --- You must rename "Auto Grain Silo Fix.mod" to "Auto Grain Silo Fix 5x.mod" for it to work.
10x (250 Wheatstraw, 50 Strawflour)
20x (500 Wheatstraw, 100 Strawflour)
40x (1000 Wheatstraw, 200 Strawflour)
