"True Kenshi - Hard Finance" is the second of a series of small mods aimed at better defining items and characters roles and reflecting my personal vision of the Kenshi universe.

This is a rework of (almost) every vanilla items value in an attempt to make earning money more challenging but still fair.
Playing as a trader is still possible but the selection of items is more limited.
Smuggling drugs is still profitable but crafting them is more profitable (the most profitable thing to craft).
Crafting your own items is a more costly investment.

**Compatibility : Compatible with NPC shopping mods.
                             Compatible with mods that adds weapons , armor, bags.
                             Compatible with mods that adds items (might affect balance of the mod).
                            Will conflict with Trade culture mods. place this mod below any trade culture and you should be alright.


Brief overview:

  • Price of non equipable items reduced between 2x-4x.
  • Many items are no longer "Trade items".
  • Crafting requires on average 2x more material.
  • Food is slightly more affordable.
  • Buy price of weapons and armor increased.
  • Sell price of weapon and armor decreased.
  • Shops have less available money.
  • Reduced "Narcotic" items reselling profits.
  • Reduced bounty rewards.
  • Player own building cost 50%-100% more.

Detailed description:

Trade items:
- Base material and items with no use are now the only trade items. The value of these items have been reduced by 50% to 25%
- The biggest spike in profitability comes from the first transformation of base materiel. Every subsequent craft brings the sell price closer to the value of the base materiel used until it surpasses it on the last transformation(s). Making the only way to profit from crafting is to manufacture from raw materials rather than purchasing transformed resources.
- Crafting requires on average 2x more material with the exception of most consumables.


Consumables:
- The result of base ingredients price reduction made food more affordable.
- Gohan and Rice bowl ingredients amount increased to better reflect their nutrition values.


Weapon, armor, loot items:
- Buying price for armor and weapon increased on average by 50%.
- Selling price for looted items and player crafted items decreased by 8x.


Shops:
- Shops now have significantly less money, depending on what they sell (bars have much less then a robotics shop).
Note: This is to push the player to spend at certain shops if he wants to liquidate his inventory.
- Fences now trade at a 25% discount.
- Drastically decreased trade prices of narcotics (To make manufacturing more attractive then reselling).

Misc:
- Bounty rewards decreased by 50%.
- Player own building cost 50%-100% more.
