I downloaded this mod because my S.O. cannot stand the music of Kenshi. I was hoping this would totally replace that music. It only seems to play Fallout music at the main menu screen, then goes back to the usual Kenshi music during gameplay. Is there a specific music frequency setting that I need to keep it on in order to only get the Fallout tracks?

The mods replaces the Kenshi music soundbanks so it erase almost 90% of Kenshi musics (some exceptions persists) and replace them with 21 tracks from the old Fallout games. So it is not only intended for the main menu, it is also during the gameplay phase. A demo video of the mod here.

Have you RE_Kenshi ? If not it will not work well. Use a recent version.
What does look your game folder structure ? Where have you extracted the mod ?

Have you tried if it works with the Steam Workshop version of the mod ?
How long is your modlist ? Have you mods like the Star Wars/Cathun conversion (can conflict, it depends on load order here) ?

If you can, give me the full RE_Kenshi log file

I have the GOG version of the game. I believe it is set up correctly. I see the mod files being loaded when I start the game in the RE_Kenshi log. I looked at your repo to get a better understanding, and now I get that the mod seems to load the Fallout tracks based on events such as entering or leaving a certain place. I will try cranking the "music frequency" option to a very high number, since it seems that is where the original Kenshi music is being triggered from. It would be great to eventually have a complete replacement for all the music in the game. Thank you!

I'm interested to know if it works well on the GoG version of the game.
The mod is very experimental, I hope it will motivate modders to go deeper in the event system to make more advanced music mods !

Do you know or do you know how to find out the list of all possible events?

I've referenced a lot of events here, related to region entry/exits (mainly the ones I needed for this mod).
The best way to reference them currently is to use the RE_Kenshi logger.

is it possible to make this add to the base game music rather than replace? I think they go well together

I have already thought about this question yesterday,
I see 2 theorical solutions for that case, but only 1 concrete solution is possible:

      - The first solution would be to integrate Fallout music into Kenshi's existing soundbanks, but that's the impossible solution because we don't have access to the source project and we can't properly decompile the .bnk files and obtain all the data we need to do that.

      - The second solution can be to integrate some Kenshi tracks in this custom Fallout bank but it will be not 100% identical to the way the base game handle the events to trigger the base Kenshi music, but it's a possible compromise

I will look into this soon I think... If I find the motivation.
