This mod adds an SSAO layer to the game. It makes objects overlapping other objects or surfaces cast a little shadow.
Features: - small performance hit (works directly on the game graphics engine) - You can turn the shader on or off in the Options menu under Graphics. - the current settings are subtile and not too heavy, but tweakable
...kenshi\mods\ShaderSSAO\materials\post\SSSAO.material has a few variables you can use to tweak the effect.
The two pictures were taken with "High" graphics and shadows disabled.
Install: Extract the file and put the folder into your mods directory: ...\Kenshi\mods\ Enable the mod in the launcher.
