During a trip through the Vain, you and your party encounter a horde of Beak Things. Your entire party is slaughtered but while everyone else is being eaten, you manage to escape off out of the Vain. You notice a Beak Thing chasing you at full speed, and you accept your fate. After a brief moment, you open your eyes to find that the Beak Thing isn't hostile, and wishes to be your friend. So, you set off to impact the world of Kenshi in whatever way you see fit with your new friend. Or maybe you'll just kill it and eat it. It's your choice.
