THERE'S NOW A STANDALONE VERSION OF THE GLOVES (NON-REPLACER) IN THE OPTIONAL FILES. YOU CAN GET THEM FROM THE CHARLATAN

The standalone version was made and sent to me by DarkDevil428, all credit for the standalone version goes to him and him alone. Thank you so much for.

This mod replaces the vanilla leather gloves for the model worn by the character Jakey from the Band of Bastards DLC. The change is purely cosmetic, the stats remain the same.

This is a cleaned up version of DrMcTeddy's original mod which had some issues. This new version shouldn't have incompatibility issues other than the specified at the bottom. ALL CREDIT GOES TO DRMACTEDDY. He gave permission to fix and upload the mod and humbly stated that no credit was needed. However, I think credit's were its due, so many kudos to him for authoring this mod.

And since probably someone would request the same thing for the Hunter gloves I went ahead and made an optional file that changes the look of the Hunter's gloves to Jakey's. You need both files if you want to replace both the leather and the hunter gloves, or just download and install the file you want.

INSTALLATION

Unpack the file and copy the folder leather_gloves_replacer in your mods folder in the game.

CLIPPING ISSUES

Due to Jakey's gloves being intended to be worn by him exclusively, the gloves have a bit of clipping, specially when wearing arm armor. This is an issue with the model and to my knowledge, can't be fixed. At least is something beyond my abilities. You can see the clipping on the pics.

COMPATIBILITY ISSUES

This mod is in PTF format and should be compatible with most mods. It edits only one line in the armor.xml file. However, mods that overhaul armor and/or items might clash with it. The same goes for mods that sort inventory and the like.

POSSIBLE ISSUES

I test my mods before uploading, so at first they should work, barring
some issues in the long run. If the mod is not working for you, it's
most probably an issue on your part, so check the usual suspects:

1.Folder structure.

Perhaps instead of unpacking the .rar file directly you chose "extract in
[filename] folder and copyied that folder into your mods folder, thus
creating and extra folder that prevents the game from loading the mod.
Make sure you copied the proper folder directly into your
mods folder, the path should be [modname]/data/[filename.pack]. In that regard, I've read that Vortex has issues with
loading mods sometimes with this game, try manually installing the mod.

2.Conflicts with other mods.

Check that you don't have other mods overwritting the same files or rows as this mod, if you do, try the following:

a) Merge this mod with the one conflicting, either by using a xml merger program or manually doing so.

Or

b) Make sure this mod loads last. There's two ways of doing this:

-Create a mod_order.txt file into your mods folder and manyally write the names
of the mods into that file, in the order you want them to load. Be
aware that this also acts as a whitelist of mods to load. Mods not
included in this file won't load. make sure you write the name of the
mods correctly, in this case it's jenda_stinks_best

Or

-Rename the mod_name folder  as zzz_mod_name or some such so
it appears last on the folder order, since in absence of a mod_order.txt
file the game loads the mods in alphabetical order.
