About this mod

This mod replaces the vanilla Leather gloves with those worn by Jakey in the Band of Bastards DLC

Permissions and credits
This mod replaces the leather gloves with those worn by Jakey in the Band of Bastards DLC through a simple edit of the armors.xml file.

As such, you PROBABLY NEED THE BAND OF BASTARDS DLC for this to work properly.

This is only a cosmetic change. The actual stats of the leather gloves do not change. The hunter gloves remain unchanged.

Installation

As pretty much any other mod, just drop the contents of the .rar archive into your Mods folder. By default, you should find that folder under C:\ProgramFiles\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods
If you haven't installed any mods before and don't see a 'Mods' folder in  your 'KingdomComeDeliverance' directory, simply create one and drop the  contents of the archive in there.

Uninstallation

If you're unhappy with the results, you can simply delete the 'GlovesReplacer' folder from your 'Mods' folder.

Known Issues

This particular model was created by Warhorse with the intent to be worn only by Jakey. Jakey's character model wears a kind of gambeson. As such, the gloves' model has not been adapted to most of the arms armours. So in most cases the armour is going to clip through the gloves and there is nothing I can do about that, at least as long as no modding tools are available (even then, nothing guarantees this clipping issue is going to be fixable). I suggest you wear this without any arms armour.

If you are using other mods that alter armors.xml but still want to use this, here's the change you'd have to make:

  • Open your other mod's armor.xml file and navigate to row number 140.
  • Change the 'clothing_id=' value to "49ae3f7c-eb61-dac7-c9a5-5cc5a166e090" (without the parentheses).
  • Repack the mod's files.

For unpacking and repacking the mod files, please refer to the tutorial link below.
