Tutorial: Photo & Video Free Cam
This mod allows for unrestricted free camera movement, enabling cinematic shots and seamless in-game recordings. Follow the steps below to set up the mod properly.
1. Free Camera File
This file removes distance restrictions, allowing you to move the camera as far as you want from the player. If you don’t already have a similar mod installed, make sure to install this file to unlock full camera control. Simply drop it into the Mods folder or install it with Vortex.
2. Developer Mode Batch File
This batch file enables Developer Mode without manual configuration. Simply place the batch file in the following directory:

Once placed, launch the game using this batch file. You can also create a shortcut on your desktop and assign the KCD2 icon to it for easier access.
3. Autoexec.cfg (Main File)
This configuration file is the core of the mod. It includes a keybind that allows you to unpause the game while in photo mode using the END key. Simply hide the UI, and you're ready to record cinematic gameplay footage without interruptions.
