Explorer Overhaul: Discover POIs Naturally reworks the vanilla Explorer perk in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to better reward players who engage with the world through genuine exploration. In the base game, activating this perk automatically reveals all undiscovered Points of Interest (POIs) on the map — robbing players of the joy of discovery. This mod disables that feature and replaces it with a new, lore-friendly effect:
Your journeys have sharpened your senses and broadened your mind. You now gain 10% more experience from all sources, reflecting the knowledge gained through a life of wandering and observation.
This version is designed for players who want a more immersive experience — where finding something off the beaten path is truly earned.
In the “Optional Files”, you can find additional XP buffs to choose from instead of the default 10%. Unzip the "Explorer Overhaul - Alternative XP Buffs.zip" and follow the instructions in the Readme.txt. Enjoy one of the following possible XP buffs:

Important: This mod only changes the functionality of the Explorer perk. If you have already activated the vanilla version of the perk and revealed all POIs on the map, this mod will not revert that effect. Use Vortex or another mod manager to install the mod.
Manual Installation
Extract the contents of the archive.
Place the folder into your Mods directory: KingdomComeDeliverance2/Mods/explorer_overhaul/
Make sure the internal structure is: Mods/explorer_overhaul/Data/...
Uninstallation
Remove the mod via your mod manager, or delete the explorer_overhaul folder from your Mods directory. Compatibility
Compatible with all mods that do not modify the "Explorer" perk (in the game files known as "discoverer" perk).
If used alongside perk overhauls or Hardcore tweaks, load order may affect behavior.
