Watch these short epic trailers to get a feel for Buster Form!
You can either watch this playlist for an in-depth showcase, or take a look at the relevant sections from the AEO description with a full breakdown of all the changes!

• You need to install this mod manually.
• To install the mod, simply extract the zip and put the pak file inside the ~mods folder.
• IMPORTANT: there are MOD AND LOAD ORDER REQUIREMENTS to experience this content! [CLICK BELOW]
• KH3 Modloader is required for the console Keyblades to be added to you inventory. You'll need to open the menu in-game with F1 (or fn+F1 if using a Spanish keyboard) and type & enter "AddKeyblades" (without quotations).
• Follow this image for reference (instead of the AEO paks in yellow, you'll be using your Fenrir and Buster Form pak. Also DFOKP and DFOBV Modloader mods aren't needed!).

• If you're having trouble getting Fenrir and/or Star Seeker to appear, try to use the first download of the AddsConsoleKeyblades mod (regardless of whether you're on Epic or Steam). It's the one I've been using and testing most extensively.

• IMPORTANT: For Steam users, Square pushed out an update that is causing fatal errors for mods like the Modloader. To fix this, you must delete ALL files with the "_0_P" suffix inside of the Paks folder.

• About mod conflicts, you should use NO OTHER moveset, attack, animation, character and/or weapon swap mods, especially large overhauls like Light vs Darkness, ReStyle or Project Equinox. When in doubt: it is NOT COMPATIBLE.
• If you still decide to run multiple mods anyway (despite me HIGHLY encouraging not to), don't go reporting any issues you might encounter. Also, MAKE SURE AT THE VERY LEAST MY MOD LOADS LAST ALPHABETICALLY, in order to have minimized conflicts instead of mod-breaking conflicts!
• In order to install updates, make sure to remove all old paks before you install the latest version! Do NOT simply overwrite them, as paks may vary in name and number between versions.

Buster Form is a brand-new, feature-heavy Formchange that will change the way you play KH3, demanding some level of skill and practice before you master its mechanics. You have been warned: I would NOT attempt to play it blind without reading the breakdown below.
Keyblade Swaps: wield the new Keyblade Fenrir, which Sora carries over since Tifa gave it to him as a gift!
• [⬤] Midnight Blue
NOTE: Access to Fenrir has MOD AND LOAD ORDER REQUIREMENTS: check the INSTALLATION & MOD CONFLICTS section of the description!
Brand-new Formchange: revel in a new transformation where Cloud lends Sora his strength, bringing his Buster Sword to life. Featuring new FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE animations!
• [⬤] Buster Form
If I could sum up everything about it in one sentence, it's this:
A Formchange that matches the design of FF7R, slowing down the pacing of gameplay and excelling at single target battles.

• [⬤] Buster Form

• [⬤] Buster Form

• Inspired by the FF7R ATB System, you gain FP automatically with time simply by running around (not dodging, though!), but specially by attacking and blocking.
• While performing certain actions an indicator will appear, prompting you to press L1 to access a series of special shortcuts. The game will slow down extremely, giving you ample time to carefully examine what the new commands are. This is your Tactical Mode!
• FP Abilitites are not only extremely powerful and Revenge Value-free, but they're also your only means to earning Situation Gauge points in this Formchange!

Operator Mode: enter Buster Form with this default stance, focused on high mobility and FP gain over damage.
• [⬤] Buster Form

• [⬤] Buster Form

Operator Home-In: quickly approach targets whenever attacking from afar.
• [⬤] Buster Form

Operator Aerial Home-In: reach airborne enemies from the ground at great heights.
• [⬤] Buster Form

• [⬤] Buster Form

Operator Block: use Block and sustain your guard indefinitely by holding

• [⬤] Buster Form

Punisher Mode: press

• [⬤] Buster Form

These are all the exact actions that will automatically return you to Operator Mode:
• Dodge
• Run
• Jump
• Doubleflight
• Glide
• Aerial actions (Combo, Block, Dodge)
• Battle end
• Keyblade swap
•

Flash Land will let you keep Punisher Mode.
Punisher Combo: perform a three-part combo that is significantly more damaging than Operator Combo, but earns less FP.
• [⬤] Buster Form

Punisher Home-In: reach the target from a medium range whenever far away.
• [⬤] Buster Form

Punisher Block: use Block and sustain your guard indefinitely by holding

• [⬤] Buster Form
Punish: if met by an enemy attack, follow up Punisher Block with an automatic Reprisal that grants a great amount of FP. Your guard can be broken even in Punisher Mode, and even if it results in a Punish!
• [⬤] Buster Form

Berserk: hold

Steal [FP Ability]: receive valuable items from the enemy. Only available while blocking. Can use while airborne.
• [⬤] Buster Form

There are 100 possible items to steal. Some are rarer than others!
Chakra [FP Ability]: a means for healing with no MP consumption (spend FP to recover 40 HP). Only available while blocking. Can use while airborne.
• [⬤] Buster Form

Wildfire / Snow Flurry / Static Shock / Wind Current [FP Abilities]: perform basic variants of elemental Magic with no MP consumption. Only available while dodging. Can use while airborne.

ONLY a Kupo Coin will let you survive the explosion and prevent a Game Over. You MUST posess it, or face certain death!

• [⬤] Buster Form

This time, you will NOT reset Prime Mode with:
• Dodge
• Jump
• Doubleflight
• Aerial actions (Combo, Block, Dodge)
• Disorder (during Prime Mode, propels you into the air)
You will STILL return to Operator Mode with:
• Run
• Glide
• Battle end
• Keyblade swap

• [⬤] Buster Form

Prime Aerial Home-In: reach airborne enemies from moderate range, then plummet them to the ground.
• [⬤] Buster Form

• [⬤] Buster Form

Super Berserk: hold

• [⬤] Buster Form

• [⬤] Cross Slash consists on three slashes that deal a large amount of damage and spell bad luck for your enemies.

• [⬤] Ascension is a relentless barrage of hits culminating in an extremely strong leaping slash.

• [⬤] Finishing Touch lets you summon a cyclone that gives way to incredible devastation.

• [⬤] Refocus, the result of triggering the partial Shotlock at any point, will convert all of your remaining MP into full FP. Use this to aid you in tight spots! Trying to trigger Refocus without any MP will result in a mediocre attack.

•

Buster Magic: upgrade all of your Magic one tier above normal, making it possible to access Tier 4 Magic at will. However, casting takes the longest time out of any Form and more MP is consumed. Does not apply to Cure Magic.
• [⬤] Buster Form

Swiftcast: Buster Magic is cast faster during Punisher Mode, and instantly during Prime Mode.
• [⬤] Buster Form

White Magic [MP Ability]: perform a series of short-lasting, self-enhancing spells for 50 MP. Only available while casting Buster Magic. Can be used in midair.
• [⬤] Buster Form
Manawall: automatically block all incoming attacks, but become defenseless against unblockable attacks.
Bravery: automatically damage enemies on contact.
Haste: speed up all your actions for a duration.
Regen: restore small bits of HP at set intervals.
NOTE: White Magic is considered an experimental addition. You WILL encounter unintended issues by combined use with Buster Form. You SHOULD immediately switch Keyblades after a buff is cast and only switch back after it ends (only Regen is 100% safe to use!). For more information, check the KNOWN ISSUES section of the description.

• [⬤] Buster Form (Focused Thrust, Braver, Disorder, Blade Burst, Prime Mode and Super Punish)

• [⬤] Buster Form
NOTE: There are optional paks regarding this ability. Check the OPTIONAL PAKS section of the description!

• [⬤] Buster Form

Buster Dodge: a slow ground dodge.
• [⬤] Buster Form

• [⬤] Buster Form

Parry Dodge: enhance Buster Dodge with parry and damage capabilities, as long as you're locked on to the enemy.
• [⬤] Buster Form

• [⬤] Buster Form

Flash Land: press

• [⬤] Buster Form

Super Armor: prevent enemy attacks from interrupting you while performing FP Abilities and during the Punisher Combo (you can still be staggered while while walking on Punisher Mode). All of Prime Mode additionally benefits from Perma Super Armor.
• [⬤] Buster Form
Stun Strike: inflict the Stun status through actions such as Deadly Dodge, FP Abilities or Finish Commands.
• [⬤] Buster Form

Install these in the same directory where you have the main AEO pak(s). Don't change the naming convention, which ensures these optional paks load afterwards!.
• BusterFormNoHitstop (turns off the Hitstop effect)

• Manawall will NOT take effect during actions having Superarmor (significantly present in Buster Form). It may also lead to body collision inconsistencies if after it wears out (this is restored to normal by dodge rolling).
• Haste will be dispelled by attacks with the Chronostasis effect. This includes all FP Abilities (except Triple Slash and Infinity's End) and Punish reprisals.
• Many of the showcased features will not work on alternative control types
• FP restoration on hit may unintendedly carry over after a Keyblade switch and it may even turn into MP restoration per hit
• Counterstance will on rare occasions fail to reprisal (and go into the normal guard hit animation instead)
• Punish Reprisal may occasionally fail to face enemies correctly
• Deadly Dodge may very rarely fail to perform after holding Square
• Reverting Punisher Mode with Dodge might make its animation lose i-frames at the end
• Despite blocking attacks, the Punisher Mode transition animation is not able to trigger the Punish Reprisal
• Casting magic to rapidly moving enemies will result in Sora awkwardly rotating to keep facing in their direction
• Extremely rare, frame-perfect occurrences may overwrite base Sora's moveset with Buster Form's until another Keyblade switch is done
• Hitstop may work less consistently after significant use of Formchange, specially on low-end systems. It also may interfere with both the victory and Game Over slowdown effects (use the NoHitstop pak to avoid this)
• Buster Sword will appear with an incorrect rotation for the rest of base Sora's animations
I don't know if these can ever be fixed. Sorry about that.
