Re:Chain of Memories cutscenes upscaled to 1080p with anti-aliasing. Both English and Japanese versions available.
Currently only Sora's cutscenes. Riku's will be added soon.

Re:Chain of Memories cutscenes upscaled from 720p to 4K using Topaz Video AI (v4.0.8), then downscaled back to 1080p. Going to 4K allowed me to get a very high quality anti-alias, and downscaling to 1080p crunched down some of the stranger artifacts that comes with AI upscaling. A lot of manual labor went into the project. Every scene was upscaled multiple ways with different settings. I then combined the footage using masks, which allowed me to get the best of both worlds: super crisp edges, without far-away subjects getting turned into a horrifying mush. The results are not perfect, as some smaller details are lost. But the overall picture quality is substantially clearer.
Installation:
1) Locate the folder containing the ReCoM pre-rendered scenes, and create a backup of it.
Steam:
...\KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-\STEAM\dt\KHCReSource\BIN\movie
Epic:
...\KH_1.5_2.5\EPIC\en\KHCReSource\BIN\movie
2) Drag the modded video files into the folder, and when prompted, replace the files in the destination.
