About this mod
The purpose of the mod is to expand and complement the game mechanics, for a deeper immersion in the atmosphere of the game, as well as to rework the weak points of the gameplay.

Attention! This is an early version of the mod. Although it is fully functional and free of critical bugs, it may have balance issues.
I'm posting this to determine ways for further development. Therefore, I ask you to share your opinion about fashion and suggest ideas that can be implemented.
When starting a company, I recommend choosing the option for the maximum number of building slots. There really aren't enough slots.
PART ONE: Buildings
The main idea I was striving for was to add variability in the development of cities and make each city more unique. The original game has very few buildings and a lot of upgrades that apply to all buildings in all towns. I do not like it. So I remade most of the upgrades to the buildings. I reorganized the districts and added new ones to group buildings and create chains for them. I also added several new buildings.
Here is a short list of changes in this category:
- Main districts: Polity, Military, Population, Religion, Farming. Contains about 50 buildings.
- In addition to the religious chain of buildings, I added an administrative chain, also specific for each of the three religions. In addition, there are several separate buildings also specific to religions.
- Secondary districts that are available depending on the features of the province: SeaShore, Riverside and resource districts in which resource-related buildings are located. It contains about 60 more buildings.
- As an experiment, I created a new province feature and added a building chain for it.
- I've added a completely new building type - landmarks. Landmarks are unique buildings, each of which can only be built in a specific province. These buildings are very expensive, but provide significant bonuses. So far I have added only 7 landmarks:
- Alhambra - Granada, Granada Muslim only
- Edinburg castle - Edinborough, Lothian
- Gelati Monastery - Kutaisi, Imereti
- Kiev Pechersk monastery - Kyiv, Kyiv Orthodox only
- Mont Saint Michel - Rheims, Champagne
- Novgorod Kremlin - Novgorod, Novgorod
- San Marco Basilica - Venice,Veneto
The mod also contains a number of simple but popular changes:
- The cost of expanding construction slots is +500 each next. Instead of +2000
- No governor penalty - 50% instead of 20%
- Storage for books, piety and levy - increased to 1500.
- More gold at the start for small kingdoms. 10000 - 500 for each realm. The larger the size of the kingdom at the start, the less gold.
- Slowed down aging in half for everyone. Now, normal aging = slow aging before and fast aging = normal aging before.
- Activated the hidden option "aging knights".
- Enlarged the royal court +2 slots.
- Added several new loading screens.
Please pay attention!During the development of the mod, I encountered several difficulties that I could not overcome. t seems these are mostly limitations in the game's source code. Therefore, if the community shows interest in modifications (in general, in the possibility of modifying the game), perhaps the developers will pay attention to expanding the modification capabilities in future updates.
Please pay attention to the forum where I describe the problems I encountered, maybe you can suggest a solution to the problem that I haven’t thought of.
There are a number of bugs in the mod that I couldn't fix.
- The new province feature stops spawning if you start a new game and exit to the main menu several times in a row. You must exit the game to desktop for the feature to spawn again. I don't yet know why this happens and how to fix it.
- If a province has many features (coastal, resources, river) the buildings panel may extend beyond the edges of the screen. The panel can be moved with the mouse. It's not comfortable, but just accept it.
- A chain of pagan religious buildings focused on Eastern European kingdoms. This is not at all suitable for the nomadic eastern kingdoms such as the Golden Horde and for the African pagans (Daju). In the future, I hope to redesign religious buildings for these countries.
I want to thank the good people from discord for giving me advices and helping me.
