Jason Todd, the second Robin, met a tragic fate when he was beaten nearly to death by the Joker and left to die in an abandoned warehouse that was rigged to blow. While the Dark Knight tried to reach the warehouse in time, he was too late, and Jason was killed. Unbeknownst to Batman, however, Jason had secretly been taken to the healing waters of the Lazarus Pit by Rā’s al Ghūl, who brought Jason back to live, albeit with an impact on the former Robin's mental well-being. Now using the name Red Hood, a name once used by The Joker himself before becoming the Clown Prince of Crime, Jason continues to fight on the side of good- but his willingness to kill Gotham's criminals instead of simply locking them away occasionally brings him and Batman to odds....
