Remastered all Pre-Rendered Cutscenes in Life is Strange Remastered to 4K, and frame interpolates them to 60 FPS. Exported in both H264 and H265 with maximum compression and little to no compression artefacts!

Life is Strange Remastered Pre-Rendered Cutscenes has been remastered using two-pass AI upscaling to 4K, and uses AI frame interpolation to technically convert the frame rate to 60 fps. All files have been exported to H264 and, optionally, H265. H265 is highly recommended, to save storage and have almost lossless video quality.
H265 pack will come with the codec installer, that you will need to allow the game to playback H265 videos, else, the game may either crash or display a blank screen. The H265 codec will increase the CPU/GPU usage — depends on what decoding method the game uses.
Please note; Deck Nine has broken some Pre-Rendered Cutscenes like the ending of Chapter 1, where you can clearly see after the scene change — there is a poorly implemented fade transition and sudden change between the OG and Remastered graphics. I did attempt to see if I can fix this, alas, I cannot find a suitable workaround without somewhat worsening this issue.
PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT RE-HOST MY FILES ON A THIRD-PARTY SITE. THIS ONLY AGGRAVATES AND CONVINCE ME FROM WORKING ON REMASTERED FMVs FURTHER, ESPECIALLY, WHEN I WAS NOT ASKED FOR PERMISSION.

I highly recommend reporting bugs under the `Bugs` tab under this mod page, although, I am not always active on Nexus Mods. Alternatively, report any bugs in my Discord Server, which helps me to organise and remember known bugs to fix, more easily.
I will attempt to fix any known bugs as soon as I can, however, I am very busy with my own life, so delays are to be expected!

- 3.5” 5900RPM or better HDD, if the game is installed on an HDD.
- Entire pack requires about ~51GB, 25.5GB is required to extract the videos separately from the game folder.
- H265 codec requires the Video Extension for HEVC to be installed from MS Store. If you do not have this, look in the downloaded archive for the installer.

- PLEASE use a reputable third-party download manager like Internet Download Manager [IDM] or JDownloader2. They are much better and reliable than browser's download manager. Any posts mentioning corrupted files, or anything along those lines, will not get any help from me!
- Unlike the OG, the remastered does not suffer from audio bugs that occur from using Dolby Atmos for home theatre or any sound configuration above 5.1 surround sound.
- H265 may increase CPU or GPU utilisation.

- Open STEAM common folder, this is where your games are located. To do this, go to STEAM, find Life is Strange — Remastered. Then Right-Click on it, go to Manage → Browse Local Files.
- Back up by one folder / go to common folder. You will see the folder in the directory path above in File Explorer, so you can just click on where it says “common”.
- Drag and Drop in the LiS — Remastered folder from the archive inside the common folder. Replace files when asked by Windows.
