Install this mod to transform Chocolina into a chocobo??? Wait....
(This is for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.)

NOTE: This is a mod only for use with LayeredFS and Steam version. It will not work with Nova Chrysalia for some reason, as upon attempting to load the model in unpacked mode from Nova it will currently crash the game as of Nova Chrysalia v1.0.1.
Description
This mod replaces most instances (maybe all) of Chocolina in the game with a white chocobo. Chocolina is harmless and likes to chat. There is some goofy zoom-in during some cutscenes, but it's fine.

Installing
There are two methods of installation: installing with and without LayeredFS included. If you already have the LayeredFS plugin installed, skip down a bit.
Installing with LayeredFS zip file
If it looks like that, then you're good to go! Should see mod_data, layeredFS, and dinput8.dll added to the folder.
Installing without LayeredFS zip file
If it looks like that, then you're good to go! There'll likely be some other folders in there if you have used LayeredFS before.

Installing

Installing with LayeredFS zip file
- Download the "Transform Chocolina to Chocobo LR With LayeredFS" zip file to a destination of your choosing.
- Confirm the location of where the Steam launcher is (LRFF13.exe). You can do this by going to Steam, right-clicking on LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII in your library, selecting "Manage -> Browse local files..." It should take you to the base folder where your launcher is. For me, it looks like
D:\Steam\steamapps\common\LIGHTNING RETURNS FINAL FANTASY XIII - The above is the area where you will want to extract your zip file to. Right-click the zip file you downloaded, select "Extract All..." and you can either copy the filepath that you got for the base folder or you can browse to the location. For me, I would copy what I had above, but it may be different for you.
- The files will be extracted to that location. After that, the folder should look similarly to this:
If it looks like that, then you're good to go! Should see mod_data, layeredFS, and dinput8.dll added to the folder.
Installing without LayeredFS zip file
- This is for if you have LayeredFS already installed in your system. Download "Transform Chocolina to Chocobo LR" zip file to a destination of your choosing.
