About this mod

! With this ReShade i aim to improve clarity and shadow detail without lifting the HDR shadow floor. It also removes the green tint the game has. This is not just another increase vibrancy and contrast reshade. Best used with RenoDX!

!This preset is for HDR only – it looks weird in SDR!

I made this ReShade to improve overall image quality. It enhances shadow details without raising the shadow floor while also removing the green tint.
Rest assured, this is not just another one of those contrast and vibrancy-boosting ReShades!

How to install:

  • Download ReShade (get the version with full addon support if you want to use RenoDX).
  • Extract the downloaded ShadowDetailClarity.ini to your game’s install directory: LikeADragonPirates\runtime\media.
  • Launch ReShade_Setup_6.4.0_Addon.exe or ReShade_Setup_6.4.0.exe.
  • Click the grey "Browse..." button in the bottom right, above "Cancel".
  • Navigate to your LikeADragonPirates install directory > runtime > media (for example, G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\LikeADragonPirates\runtime\media).
  • Select likeadragonpirates.exe and click "Open".
  • Click "Next" and select Microsoft DirectX 10/11/12 if it's not selected automatically, then click "Next".
  • **(Skip this step if you don't have ReShade installed yet.) If you already have ReShade installed, click "Update ReShade and effects".
  • At the bottom of the window, click "Browse...". It should automatically open the game's directory; if not, navigate to LikeADragonPirates\runtime\media as in steps 2 and 5.
  • Select ShadowDetailClarity.ini and click "Open".
  • Click "Next" (if you’re using the full addon support version of ReShade, you don’t need to select any add-ons—just click "Next").
  • Click "Finish"—you’re all set!
  • You can open the ReShade menu by pressing "Home" on your keyboard while in-game.

!Please keep in mind that these images are tone-mapped to SDR—HDR looks much better in-game!
