Legend Gauntlet creates many brand new Gauntlet Stages, featuring popular characters from Yakuza as bosses (Kiryu, Saejima, Majima, Daigo, Akiyama, Tanimura, Ryuji, Mine, Aizawa), as well as special Gauntlet Stages like Battle for Survival and Battle Royale, along with extremely difficult Ultimate Challenge stages (Jo Amon, Komaki, Dark Kaito)
You can even switch to other playable characters in this mod, such as the Kaito from the game and Kiryu.
(modify in mods/Legend Gauntlet/plugins/Config.ini.)
Install using Shin Ryu Mod Manager (Please install using SRMM; RMM is no longer supported. If RMM is used, this MOD will not function properly.)
If you cannot install using SRMM, please install manually (simply drag the folder inside the mod archive into the mods folder).
Tips:This mod does not support the main story or premium adventure.

- completely rewrote Kiryu's AI, and restored all of Kiryu's attack effects from Gaiden.

(including switching playable characters between Yagami or Kaito,
toggling boxer style, disabling Health Regen, setting ATK to 0,
selecting Kiryu's outfit, etc.).

If you use Kiryu, as an example with the DS controller:
- L2 (Holding) + △ = Full Heat Cigarette Bomb (extremely high damage)
- L2 (Holding) + ✕ = Stun Cigarette Bomb
- L2 (Holding) + ☐ = Flame Cigarette Bomb
- L2 (Holding) + ◯ = Call Drone (electric, )
requires one Heat Gauge charge

Known bugs (currently unresolved):
- When Yagami is knocked down, Kiryu may prematurely enter the second phase (Yakuza style).
- Sometimes it is not possible to exit the level.
- At a high frame rate of 120 FPS or above, the speed of Health Regen
will be abnormally fast. You can disable Health Regen in the config.ini
file.
- The playable character Kiryu may occasionally be unable to execute the
Tiger Drop, or the actions might still resemble Yagami’s
when switching styles. Please try restarting the game to resolve this
issue.
You can even switch to other playable characters in this mod, such as the Kaito from the game and Kiryu.
