About this mod
It simply allows you to switch surge mode on and off at your own will. Surge mode doesn't go away either until you switch it off.

At the end of the day, my mod was just a placeholder for LDD565's mod. just to let y'all have something while he was cooking. And man did he cook something delicious! It is exactly how I thought Spider-man 2 would be when it was released.
Definitely download it for the ultimate Spider-man 2 experience!

Moving forward:
This was my first mod ever, and It's always just been a practice for me, but after the release of 1.280.1.0, it didn't work properly for some people. I worked hard on learning new tricks, which led to me leaving my uni stuff behind a bit. I didn't manage to find a solution before LDD565's mod released. Since his mod has now been released, I won't be working as hard on fixing this mod. I'd say I'm rather close and I will still work on it ofc, but I got some catching up to do too :D
My mod:
CONTROLLER SUPPORT IS NOW OUT. Press up on the dpad to refill surge mode or get out of surge mode. You have to use an xbox emulator for it to work since the script uses xinput
Dualsense controllers:
You have to use an xbox emulator or steam overlay. Many have had success with steam overlay, which is what I recommend.
Xbox controllers:
It should work on the get go.
There are 2 versions of this mod. FreeCam and No free cam.
For my AAARG downloaders, there are previous versions of the mod that works for previous version the game that you can download. I won't be removing those.
FreeCam doesn't work for the game version 1.28, but it should work soon!
I am currently looking into removing the animation to make the transition seamless
