I play with a pro controller, and sometimes i get confused with the buttons layout, so i wanted to make a mod that replaces the XBOX buttons for Switch ones, but i don't understand the mod manager, so i wanna make a request if someone can make it.
You can fix this thru Steam. Go to steam general controller settings, Under Switch Pro controller support, select use Nintendo button layout.
Close this menu, then change the controller configuration so that Y is attack, X is Web Strike, A is dodge, and B is jump. You will have to get used to the fact that Accept and Cancel are now swapped, though.
This doesn't work, if you enable that setting the game will flip the in-game prompts and they'll never line up (eg. Default is A to jump, but you have to press B. With that setting, now it says B to jump, but you have to press A).
Image of Steam controller options *Enable Steam input for Switch Pro controllers* I can confirm that this does actually work, if you just enable this option here it automatically switches the button prompts so that Y is attack, X is web strike, A is dodge and B is jump/confirm.
In case anyone looking for a solution i found a way to make accurate nintendo button prompts show up on my Deck with The Deck's Gamepad at least
Instead of using an official Spider-man Remastered Cobtrollee Layout i chose a basic template (Gamepad with Gyro) and then turned off Steam Input. Then I launched the game.

This mod is 100% needed
