Experience all the content of the original loading screens at 4x (or 2x) the speed, because time is precious.
This mod does not cut or re-compress animations; the originals run at 15fps, this mod alters file metadata changing playback to 60fps.
ALOV supplants 4X FASTER. If you use ALOV there is no need to use this mod.

WHY THIS MOD?
Why use this instead of the other very popular ""Shorter Loading" screens? This mod does not truncate the original animations or reduce their quality, it only speeds them up by altering metadata. You get the entire experience, but much faster. Use this mod on the vanilla game if you are not downloading ALOV.
WHY USE ALOV INSTEAD?
ALOV supplants this 4X FASTER mod, if you download and install it.
This 4X FASTER mod was built for use with the vanilla game before ALOV arrived on the scene. 4X FASTER retimes the existing loading screens to be 60fps thereby speeding them up. ALOV has implemented the 60fps re-time with the speed up like 4X FASTER did AND upscaled the videos to 1080p and 4K for better quality.
There is no reason not to use ALOV unless you are short on drive space or bandwidth.
If you run this 4X FASTER mod after you've installed ALOV, you will not notice any difference: 4X FASTER doesn't break anything but doesn't give you any benefit either.
If you don't install ALOV, then 4X FASTER (this mod) is still a valid solution for the vanilla game.
DESCRIPTION

The EXE alters all load_*.bik files except:
Mass Effect 2\BioGame\Movies\load_f19.bik
Mass Effect 2\BioGame\Movies\load_f99.bik

Backup your game first: I am not responsible should your game stop working. Do not use this in conjunction with any other "Shorter Loading" mod that exists; this is intended to work on your original, vanilla, load_*.bik files and nothing else.
USE
Run the EXE and point it at your Mass Effect 2 directory, something like:
L:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect 2
Select your rate. I suggest trying 4x. If you feel it's too fast, you can always re-run the EXE at 2x.
