Crouch Mod for LE3 adds the ability to crouch, well-known from ME1 and ME2, to Mass Effect 3.

Crouching is assigned to a keybind chosen in the installation options - with default available keys being Left Control, Left Alt, X, C, and V for keyboards and Left Stick Button / Right Stick Button for controllers.
The keybind is universal and works both as a hold, and as a toggle, depending on context:
  • If you hold the button for over 200ms, hold mode is activated and crouch is disabled once you release it.
  • On the other hand, a short press will trigger the toggle mode, where crouch will be disabled on next press of the crouch button.

You can setup custom keybinds, as well as add a button for a non-universal hold / toggle action, by following that article.

Works correctly in SP and in MP when crouching as host. Does not work when off-host - you will trigger crouch animation, but will not receive the lower hitbox (which is all that's crouch about). Game will not break, nevertheless, so you can leave the mod on - just don't expect any advantages from crouching when joining PUGs.

Only installation with ME3Tweaks Mod Manager is supported. Manual installation is not supported.
Multiple new console commands as well as a helper class are added to SFXGame.pcc file.
Additionally, several patches are installed into Testpatch (Patch_BioPawn.pcc, Patch_BioPlayerController.pcc, Patch_SFXPlayerController.pcc).
Your SFXGame.pcc and TestPatch (Patch_001.sfar) files will be automatically edited by the Mod Manager.

If you want to uninstall the mod fully, you will need to restore both SFXGame.pcc (Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\CookedPCConsole\SFXGame.pcc) and
TestPatch (Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\Patches\PCConsole\Patch_001.sfar) files
from a backup or by other means.
Optionally, you can disable the mod by removing its associated DLC folder in the "Manage target" section. This will not remove the injection, but will remove the bindings, making you unable to crouch anymore.
You can freely re-install your current version of the mod as many times as you want while selecting different install options - those are all stored in the associated DLC folder.
