About this mod
For nostalgic (and valid) reasons, many have complained about the music in the Purgatory Bar of ME3, wishing it had music like in similar areas of previous Mass Effect games. With these files you'll be able to change that, according to one of four choices of music.

For nostalgic (and valid) reasons, many have complained about the music in the Purgatory Bar of ME3, wishing it had music like in similar areas of previous Mass Effect games. With these files you'll be able to change that, according to one of four choices of music:
- Chora's Den [ME1 Citadel] (it's also in ME3 Citadel DLC) ----------------------------- music preview
- Dark Star Lounge [ME2 Citadel] ------------------------------------------------ music preview
- Upper Afterlife Club [ME2 Omega] (note: a faster version was used for Purgatory) ---- music preview
- Lower Afterlife Club [ME2 Omega] ---------------------------------------------- music preview
PS: I know the music from FLUX (ME1 Citadel) is missing... maybe I'll get there later.
Here's a showcase vid (thanks GagaHax!), in this case using the Dark Star music:
INSTALLATION NOTES:
Inside the .ZIP file you download, there are detailed and easy "step-by-step" install instructions (and with ilustrations, to make it even easier).
You also need ME3Explorer to implement the music files into Mass Effect 3.
NOTE: PLEASE USE ME3EXPLORER v108w (r632)
This is an older version which still has the import function and no issues when saving the files. Newer versions won't work.
If that direct link for the particular (older) version of ME3Explorer doesn't work, you can download it from HERE.
Scroll down, look for the file called "ME3Explorer Stable Release v108w_r632" (released in 16 April 2014). Download it and unzip it to an empty folder.
All you need then is to follow the easy "step-by-step" instructions (with ilustrations) in the .PDF file provided with this music mod.

For more details on the audio files...
- Spec-wise, these are in 16-bit Stereo, 24KHz sample rate.
- As the game forces audio effects inside the Purgatory Bar (extra reverbs, low-pass filters, etc), all these musics had to be (re)mastered a little for this specific purpose, so that the volume level and overall EQ matches the original music in that regard (to fit game convos, have similar low-freqs, etc).
- They have been converted to the specific format that the WWise sound-engine requires for them to work in ME3. What mean with this is, while their file extension is .WAV, they're not the regular format (it is not readable in a media player!).
I hope you enjoy it. :)
Cheers!

Big thanks to MrFob and Impingu1984 (for the tutorials), and also WarrantyVoider (for ME3Explorer)
