Description
DeadMeat is back and is once again offering the N7 Defender Armor for Male Shepard. This texture replaces the N7 Defender armor texture found in the original game. I am the creator of the N7 Defender texture used in the ALOT mod and this is an update / replacement for the texture I did years ago. This isn't the same one included with ALOT. This version includes the diffuse, specular map and normal map. This is a 4K texture just like the original, but I've made many changes to the texture to improve the look and make it more congruent with the other armors in the pack and to look a bit more like the original in game armor. I've lessened the weathering quite a bit on some parts, etc.
If there is a demand for it, I may offer a more battle worn version of the armor again with some other updates. This version is not packaged with the helmet as my previous iterations of it were as it isn't needed.
Installation
I packaged this as a .TPF file for use with Texmod and or ME3Explorer. All files are in the correct format to use with ME3Explorer so no conversions should be necessary.
Known Issues
There are no known technical issues with this mod at this time. It's been tested with all the DLC's as well as ALOT, EGM, and ME3Recalibrated. That said, I may or may not make additional changes to this mod. I'm not 100% happy with it and may improve it again. There is a blemish in the stripe of sorts on the right arm stripe that's present on all known versions of the Defender Armor in the game which appear in the single player. This includes both James' default armor and Shepards version of the armor. Even the Battlefield 3 version of the armor has the issue as well. Although, that texture doesn't show it as easily due to the color scheme.
