At long last, the updated version of this mod is finally here! Thank you much for bringing to my attention any of the bugs or issues you had while playing, I tried my best to address each and every one I could, and I'm so glad to have an improved version out there for you all to enjoy!

With this new version, some characters' complexions had quite a few adjustments made to them! Here are some updated screenshots of Joker in each game and Sheploo in each game in case you are curious how they look now! And another one for Anderson's updated textures in LE2, no more weird seams yay!

I also wanted to take the time to breakdown and explain a rather complicated and prevalent issue I wasn't able to fully address with this mod update:

One of the big focuses of this update was to try and address some of the eyelash issues with Sheploo and Anderson. Sheploo (Default male Shepard) has always had pretty long lashes, which aren't always noticeable in vanilla because they were made semi-transparent and more subtle. Because this mod changes the eyelash textures to be more defined and opaque, Shepard's eyelashes became much more dramatic. With this update I was able to create more natural eyelashes for him in LE1 and LE3, but unfortunately, he uses different eyelashes textures in each game. In LE2, he uses the default female eyelash texture, which is shared among nearly all female characters. This is problematic because unless a mod comes out that alters Sheploo to use different lashes, I'd need to make every female character have shorter lashes to keep Shep's consistently short like in LE1 and LE3.

A similar issue exists with Anderson in LE1, he uses the default female eyelash texture which gives him uncharacteristically long lashes. I hope eventually there will be a mod that ports his head from LE3, like the Anderson & Hacket Consistency Mod but for LE1. Though there's no telling how long that might be from now without a compatibility framework for LE1. For now though, I tried to create an option for people who would want to keep Anderson and Sheploo's lashes from being too fabulous, while minimizing the impact this would have on the base female lash! In this version, I cut down the outer corner lashes significantly which removes it's 'wing-like' effect as can be seen on Ashley here. But makes the eyelashes of LE1 Anderson and LE2 Sheploo much less noticeable. I mean, some people might even prefer how it looks on female characters over the original, so I've made this available in the Miscellaneous files tab. Just remember to install those .mems after installing the other textures you want, to make sure they replace the original eyelashes!

Thank you once again for all your patience, kind words, and support! I truly hope you have a wonderful time playing through these games! 😊

I installed first the ALOT.mem and then the Primitives - All in One Install (LE2). Afterwards, I installed your compatibility patch, yet as you can see in the image below, a seam on her forehead is still visible. Any solution you can recommend?

      I don't think we're getting a solution.

I ended up fixing it myself. Yeah. I learned to mod specifically because this texture pack is incredible and I cannot play without it, but I also can't play with that seam on Miranda. I've never modded in my life. Crazy what I'll do for a pretty lady.

I have the Liara consistency project but she remains unchanged in terms of looks. I manually went in and changed her texture but while she looks like her version from 3, it's not updated to your style. I don't have any other mods that effect Liara.

I'm in the same boat as you. Notice very little change with her look as well. Have the recommended mods installed as well. But the picture of her on the mod page looks better then in game. Wonder if we are both missing something?

So with Primitives and the Kaidan Alenko Overhaul (it says it's compatible with any texture mod) installed, would I still be able to use Jenya's Kaidan Overhaul or would it override Primitives?

Jenya's replaces the same texture as Primitives so no and since youre using Kaidan Overhaul, Jenya's hair texture is unnecessary

Using the ALOT Miranda patch doesn't seem to make any difference to the very noticeable seam across her forehead. At least for ME2. Not sure about ME3 yet.

Did you installed it after or before ALOT?

      (edited)

I actually just noticed the seam in Miranda's forehead as you said.

If I just wanted to install individual textures for a character, do I just install the specific .mem?

    For example:
If I wanted to install only LE3 Kasumi, I download Primitives - Individual Install (LE3) file.  Then I would only install the Kasumi Install LE3.mem file from Unique Complexions folder inside the zip using MEM for LE3?

    Thank you

Does Pimitives clash with Project Variety?

It shouldn't as PV only changes outfits not complexions.

When I fired up the game to mod for the first time, I was already groaning at the prospect of spending time poring over complexion mods to get something that didn't make my Shep a porcelain doll but also didn't make her look like 50 miles of bad road.

When I entered character creation after installing just your skin textures, I was so, so thrilled. I never expected it to be so easy to get my Shep ship-shape. ;P

Thanks to you and to Ellise for the groundwork! I cannot wait to see the changes over time.

What steps do I need to do to install everything except textures, that replaces Shepard's face?

So is this the only face texture mod to be consistent for all 3 games?

In LE1: if I intend to keep Liara's face as she is in LE1, (i.e., no intention of using her face from LE2/LotSB or LE3,) do I still need to install Liara Consistency Mod to use this mod?

Nah, you would only need those if you planned on keeping her LE2/LE3 design consistent across the whole trilogy. Just download the Individual version of Primitives over the All in One version.
