This mod makes many changes to the base game experience, leading to a more thoughtful, interesting, challenging, and an overall faster pace to the base game.
Weapon damage values have been changed to match their canon counterparts (e.g., a medium laser does 5 damage, an AC/20 does 20 damage). for weapons that either have damage ramp (the heavy gauss rifle, ATMs) the damage has been set to the most balanced amount (20 damage for Hgauss, where ATMs are broken into extended and medium ranges, I applied the applicable damage amount for such ranged)
Mechs have been given proper names, all clan mechs now use their clan names (sorry not sorry). Warlord was renamed to Atlas II, because it is stated to be an upgrade of the atlas.
future changes
balancing changes (only if something is in dire need of changing, I don't want to compromise the concept of the mod)
