About this mod

This is a mod which attempts to balance the cantina jobs and rewards to make them more easy and/or less frustrating to complete.

The idea for this mod came from the Most Needed Gameplay Changes mod forum comments and the fact that I have been struggling a bit to complete some of the jobs.

As a disclaimer, I do play MW5 with YAML on medium and salvage system v2, YAWR, YAWRC etc. This means that I play on a harder difficulty than vanilla. I do find it a bit strange that YAML does not balance the cantina jobs rewards since the gameplay loops in terms of difficulty are closely related.

There are no prerequisites for the mod.

v0.5.0 Changelog - DLC6 compatible.

For most of the categories, the amount of items to be gathered, turned in, shot down etc. has been lowered with around 50%.

For balancing purposes, the reputation gain has been also diminished with 50-70%, for ALL job types with the exception of beginner and easy jobs which give 0 reputation. The reason for this is because it will make it way to easy to gain reputation that makes one skip most of the unique handmade quests. I also think slowing down a bit the early game in terms of reputation gain is a good plan.

Specific changes:

1. Equipment collector - the amount of items that need to be gathered has been lowered significantly. Some tables reduced the amount of specialized items. Hard jobs are still hard.
2. Mech Collector - Jobs will now ask ONLY for the generic mech model rather than a specific version. Difficulty is in numbers rather than in models than never spawn
3. Mech Hunter - All the jobs difficulties will ask for generic mechs to kill in various numbers. Brutal will still ask you to find and kill specific models, but just one rather than many
4. Treasure Hunter - the only change here is lowering the reputation gain
5. War Dog - Difficult jobs type will still ask to kill specific models. But all the tables had the amount to be killed reduced. It is absurd to ask someone to hunt and kill 80 tanks, whatever the mode.

I did not alter any of the cantina traits levels or installation options. I like the way that works right now, specifically with YAML.

Compatibility:

This mod is obviously compatible with YAML and most of the mods that do not alter the Cantina errands.

The loading order is set to 50 which means it will override the changes in Most Needed Gameplay Changes specific to cantina rewards.
