About this mod

Undated Quests removes the trigger date requirement for High Reward Quests that are otherwise unavailable until a certain date within the game has been reached. This allows the player to take on the quest when the requisite reputation level has been achieved.

There are about fifteen High Reward Quests across DLCs 1, 2, and 3 that have date restrictions placed on when the missions are made available within the game. However, in many of these cases by the time the trigger dates are reached the player has far surpassed the challenge of the quest and the rewards offered for completion are often no longer useful to the player at that point in their campaign. With this mod, the date requirement has been removed so players can take on these missions as they are made available through progression in reputation level. This allows for the difficulty of the missions and the rewards provided to be better aligned with the player's mechs and equipment at that point in the campaign/career.

This mod pairs well with the Objective Jump mod, though they operate independently of one another. When both are installed, players can immediately jump to the system offering the High Reward Quests as they are made available, then jump back to their previous location when completed.

Note that this mod may causes missions not to match up with lore tech introduction dates. Therefore it is possible that equipment received as rewards can't be replaced if lost in battle until they become available later!

This mod does not affect the dates for the major DLC campaigns offered by Kestrel Lancers, Rise of Rasalhague, The Dragon's Gambit, or Solaris Showdown that come to players as a Priority Transmission. Only the High Reward Quests that are received via the View Transmission Home Screen button.
