Changelogs
Version 1.0a
Hot Fix - Corrected loadout issue with the DGM-G. - Adjusted textures a bit.
Welcome to the Custom Mech Foundry! This is an ongoing collaborative project between Tedwin.K66 and myself to bring new and unique mech chassis into MechWarrior 5. All the mechs are the brainchild of Tedwin, who designs, models, textures, and lore writing for each of the mechs, while I put all the work into making the mechs playable in the game. The plan is to bring over as many mechs as Tedwin has designs for into the game which means more will become available in time.
Designation: DGM Class: Light Tonnage: 30 tons Intro Date: 2800 Standard Variant: DGM-A Armament: 2x Medium Lasers, 2x SRM 4s
During the waning years of the Star League, Blankenburg Technologies were looking to create a new light 'Mech that could fulfill the role of an offensive scout and flanker. Using their experience with building BattleMasters, the firm used their Geometric 230 Light Core chassis as the basis for a 30-ton 'Mech codenamed "Daggerman." After the Star League's collapse, Blankenburg teamed up with Alliance Defenders Limited to produce the 'Mech within the Outworlds Alliance hoping its facilities were far enough away from the newly started Succession Wars. Only produced between 2790 and 2810, the Daggerman saw large scale production but the rapid technology loss made it impossible to outfit the brand new but empty chassis. While some Daggerman were scrapped or sold off, most ended up locked away in storage within the Periphery where they would be forgotten until their rediscovery in 3030. The advent of Endo Steel's reintroduction in 3035 allowed the mech to once again see new life on the battlefield with Kurita, after taking special interest in the mech, started creating new variants using the recovered frames that utilized special light 'Mech melee weaponry.
