Just throw into your mods folder, enable it in your game.

Because there is some confusion about how the skill sheet works in MW5, I'll give a little explanation. the skill bars for Ballistic, Energy, Missile have nothing to do with accuracy. Those are damage boosters for those categories. At level 10 in those categories, your pilots receive a 20% boost in damage.

The accuracy your lancemate AI has is on par with Regular Rank enemies. By default, their accuracy is only 0.85 at 250 meters, and curves down to 0.4 at 1200 meters. Boss Accuracy is 1.2 at 300 meters, and curves down to 0.7 at 1200 meters. Basically, units with Boss accuracy are virtually guaranteed to hit their targets at and under 300 meters. With that being said, at 1200 meters, they have a phenomenally high chance to hit their targets since it is 0.7. If the target is beyond 1200 meters out, it still remains at 0.7 because the curve ends there.

This should work regardless of not owning any DLC. If you have any issues, check your mods list and remove them all. Then place this mod by itself in the Mods folder, and check if it works.

The objective of this mod was to enhance the Lance AI accuracy to better accommodate a human player's skill level, or even reflect it. There are many times you watch your AI teammates and you wonder why they can never hit anything, or miss easy shots. Then you might think, "if that were me, I could hit that." There are times you might scream at them and wish you had a human partner to help you. This is made for that purpose, to bring their accuracy up to a level where they can be seen as useful.

I have also played a wealthy amount of CO-OP multiplayer and seen the various skill levels a human player would have. Let's be honest, most humans players are actually pretty accurate, especially against a stationary target, no matter from 200 meters to 1000 meters. With that being said, this level of accuracy appears closer to a highly skilled human player. And having played in CO-OP plenty of times, it's actually a cakewalk with other human players, and it shows the levels of disparity between Human and AI.

You should actually be able to play very decently now if you are a solo pilot. That's no problem, for your reasons, that's why this is here. MW5 meant to give the power to the player, making the player feel like an unstoppable force, but it's not very helpful when your AI lancemates struggle to fight. That in turn also forces you to "pick up the slack," essentially making you the Hero, the MVP, the star of the show, the only one that really matters at all. Fret not, this will make them become more useful. You might also think having at least 1 AI around isn't so bad after all.
