About this mod

The Annihilator Darkstalker is a hero mech Annihilator that due to its XL engine, goes the normal assault mech speed of 48 kph that also mounts ECM.

Permissions and credits
After the loadout for the Annihilator DKR was complete, the total was only 97 / 100 tons, and with no critical slots remaining, there was nothing to do with the additional 3 tons. So, instead of just whisking them off into nowhere or just not using them, the armor of the mech was increased, meaning it has more armor than any other mech in the game aside from the final boss, with 151 CT armor compared to an Atlas' 124, and a total armor value of 739 compared to an Atlas' 614. The ANH - DKR is armed with 4 tier 5 ER PPCs, 4 tier 4 small lasers, and 2 tier 2 medium lasers, ECM, 27 single heatsinks, and 2 double heatsinks. Once Yet Another Mechlab come back up, the mod will basically be rendered obsolete, as I don't THINK the two are compatible and you will just be able to put a larger engine in the mech, but until then, here is an Anni that doesn't go 32.
Tried to use the Anni in YAML, it does work, but if you try to change anything on it, it will prompt you to put an engine in it, which is a slot it doesn't have. So it would probably be a mech mostly restricted to instant action if you have YAML. If you are looking for it, it should very rarely spawn in Steiner space, either in industrial hub markets, or even on the battlefield (I think - I have found it in an industrial hub, but have not yet seen it on a battlefield.)

A note a few years after this came out - This was sort of a spur of the moment kind of project I wanted to do just after I think the first(?) DLC came out, which broke YAML. Because YAML is such a large and complicated mod, it needed a few weeks in order to become compatible with the new DLC, which was when I put this out as a sort of substitute for the Annihilator-1E that would go 48 instead of the usual 32. With YAML now functional again, giving you the ability to change the mech's engine, and with me not having used the MW5 editor in ... a while, I don't expect this to get an update. It was quite the experience with trying to get the editor to work, with me failing at least 7 or so times to get a custom chassis into the game, but I had and still don't have any idea how to get the skeletons to work. Since then, I've gotten into competitive play in Mechwarrior Online which has taken up most of my "meching" time. Still if you have any questions, shoot them at me, or here, I still check up on it from time to time, and I'll do my best to answer them.
