Ehy, i didn't get what this mod does?

"Lowers the time to convert soldiers into DDs"? But it does after around a minute (or anytime I switch to a loading screen) already...

Hi, CantStoptheBipBop. Your modification works very well for speeding the assimilation of soldiers from the brig. However, your modification also seems to cap the level of each unit type to 99.

For instance, I have three full FOBs, and before installing your mod their levels were: 99/96/103/103/101/102/104

After installing your mod they dropped to 99/96/99/99/99/99/99

After uninstalling your mod (as construction of some items requires more than level 99) the level of the units went back to 99/96/103/103/101/102/104.

Thanks for sharing your mod. I can't use it, but I appreciate it.

Post script: I think I figured out what the bug is. Without the mod I have 2800 soldiers. The mod seems to drop that number to 2600. Fortunately they come back when I uninstall it

post post script: I might be wrong about the 2600 thing. I'm not sure and don't want to re-install the mod to test it. I do know it capped me at 99 level, though. For instance, I tried shifting all unit types to combat to see if combat would go over 99, and it did not. So there's a real cap when that mod is active.

Thanks for the report! The issue is with the .mgsv file I uploaded. I accidentally used a lua file from an old S++ soldier spawn mod, which is why it was leaving you capped at lvl 99. I'll update the files in a bit.

Hi, CantStoptheBipBop. I just installed your patch, and it handles unit levels over 99 very nicely now. Well done, and thanks for sharing your excellent modifications.

Hi, Skdm007. Gosh, this was three years ago or more. I haven't played MGSV in around that long. I can't tell you the details, but I know there was a text-line utility I used for packing and unpacking directories. I recommend you search the internet to find what the current method is. I'm the wrong person to ask :)

I know I had to make scripts, but I just checked, and those scripts don't exist on my current PC. It was so long ago I don't even have that PC anymore, so I don't know what went into the scripts. :(

Yes, and it seems like there were no updates released that modify the same file, so you probably don't need to worry about overwriting updated data with outdated modded versions.

Yeah there shouldn't be an issue with it. I don't think they changed anything with the lua file this uses between versions 1.09 and 1.1. I'll check later but you can just disable Snakebite's compatibility check to install it. The time it takes appears to also be affected by your level of Covert Actions and Combat preparedness (camera and gun icons on iDroid). I'll have to verify that some other day but if you've finished most of the game then a rule of thumb is 10 - 15 minutes with this installed.

I'd like to incorporate this to my custom S++ Spawner, could you tell me what section of the .lua you modified to change the persuasion rate?

    Thanks

Sure it's under TppMotherBaseManagement.RegisterTimeMinutePer1Enmity{ . The parts being changed are each occurrence of timeMinutePer1Enmity= .
