This is a super, super early version, but figured I should share what I put up in the Discord server and more. Right now there's a lot of issues I'd really like to figure out how to get them sorted out. Not to mention the enemy soldier routes are very sloppy, as we can't import routes from Ground Zeroes yet.

Requires:

Installation's super simple: install the SnakeBite Mod Manager if you don't have it yet, with it install the latest Infinite Heaven and IHHook versions, and the main file from the Files page here. Then, open up File Monolith's Archive Transferrer in administrator mode, follow its super easy instructions of pointing it to the two games' .exes, press the button and you're done!

The location should be available for deployment to in the Free Roam tab in the Missions List.

The download includes an English Voice and a Japanese Voice file, install only one of them based on what voice version of the game you have!

Here's what the other optional files include:
  • SIDE OPS folder includes 10 custom side ops set in the free roam location! We still can't send you to the sortie from the Side Ops List, so you'll still have to enter the location from the Free Roam tab in the Mission List with the side op active. This file has its own English Voice and Japanese Voice files, install only one!
  • Randomizer is an alternative to the side ops in free roam: when you enter Free Roam with this file installed and with no side ops active (or the 10 side ops file installed at all), you'll encounter up to 5 randomized prisoners, up to 5 randomized surveillance cameras, up to 2 randomized vehicles, up to 8 randomized additonal enemy soldiers and randomized equipment in the map, like a rogue-lite mode, if you will!

Recommended/related mods:

To-do:
  • Further polish the light probe spherical harmonics and fix other artifacts (.lpsh)
  • Figure out why the windsock animation crashes with the correct bone group value in the mtar and why the current one is lacking vertical movement (.gani)
  • Convert the rest of the GZ visual effects (.vfx, smkgntgnd/dust from daytime GZ missions, lgtenvswt/switch lights, most likely more)
  • Convert GZ gntn_climateSettings_ps4.twpf (currently using mtbs_climateSettings_dx11.twpf)
  • Convert GZ bounding volume files, whatever they do (.geobv)
  • Convert GZ environment soundbanks. Only phase music has worked directly so far, thanks to Half Way Lambda.
  • And probably more.

If you have experience in reverse engineering and would like to help fix some of the issues this map has, feel free to join our Discord server, Modders' Heaven, and we can get you started with what we know!
