- Video Codec Used: Bink 2.5 w/ 2.6b compressor.
- Original Video Resolution: 1920x1080 without 4K Cinematic pack DLC, 3840x2160 with 4K Cinematic pack DLC installed.
- Original Video Bitrate: Unknown, but looks to be bitrate-starved.
This game contains a ton of FMVs, I believe it is comparable to FINAL FANTASY XIII, in both the duration of the FMVs and the number of FMVs there are.
Eventually, I will start remastering all the FMVs to 4K (by using the source 4K videos, downscaled to 1080p then remastered up to 4K) and frame interpolating them to 60 FPS. Please note; I will gradually work and release the FMVs.
These 4K 60 FPS FMVs/Pre-Rendered Cutscenes are exported to Bink 2, the compressor used is somewhat newer than the compressor used for stock 4K videos.

- [Soft Requirement] 4K Cinematic Pack DLC from Steam.
- 3.5" 5900RPM or better HDD, if the game is installed on an HDD.
- Currently, at least ~19.84GB available on your storage device. ~9.92GB for installation, ~19.84GB to download and extract.

- PLEASE use a reputable third-party download manager like Internet Download Manager [IDM] or JDownloader2. They are much better and reliable than browser's download manager. Any posts mentioning corrupted files, or anything along those lines, will not get any help from me!
- These videos can be played on lower resolution without any issues.

- Open Middle Earth - Shadow Of War folder (game directory), which is called "ShadowOfWar", this can be done via Steam by right-clicking on the game, click on Properties, go to Manage, then Browse Local Files. From here, back up by one folder, which takes you to the 'common' folder.
- Drag and drop the "ShadowOfWar" folder into the "common" folder. Let the files be replaced, unless you want to create backups first.

• INSTRUCTIONS - ENABLE 4K FMVs WITHOUT THE 4K CINEMATIC PACK DLC •

By default, the files are packed to override the default 4K FMVs, that is shipped with the game's 4K cinematic pack. Although, I do not see why anyone would not have that installed already, especially if they have decided to use this, but if you cannot be bothered to install the DLC, then do the following.
---IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE 4K 60 FPS FMVs ALREADY ---
1. Go to Middle Earth - Shadow of War game directory (ShadowOfWar)\game\cinematics\videos\01_prologue\.
2. Rename all files with ".vibuhd" extension, to ".vib".
3. That's all.
--- IF YOU HAVE NOT INSTALLED THE 4K 60 FPS FMVs ALREADY ---
1. Extract the ShadowOfWar folder from the downloaded archive, if you have not already.
2. Go through all the folders inside ShadowOfWar folder.
3. Rename all files with ".vibuhd" extension, to ".vib".

I highly recommend reporting bugs under the `Bugs` tab under this mod page, although, I am not always active on Nexus Mods. Alternatively, report any bugs in my Discord Server, which helps me to organise and remember known bugs to fix, more easily.
I will attempt to fix any known bugs as soon as I can, however, I am very busy with my own life, so delays are to be expected!
