Funny story.  Wanted to catch a crab, tranquilized the crab, set the trap, figured there was no point wasting a healing potion when victory was within my grasp... and then the crab ground slammed me and I fainted.  About two seconds later the trap finished setting up and the crab fell in.  Thus the defeat music quickly gave way to the victory music.  It was like the game was telling me "you suck... nevermind, you rule!  yay!" 
Good times.  Anyways, if you were ever wondering what happened if you capped a monster while getting capped BY a monster, now you know.
