About this mod

A Super Shotgun from Doom 2016, the shotgun barrel lowers and goes back up again after each shot, the trigger moves and such. The movements are a bit jank, though.

Permissions and credits
A mod I made to test bowgun's crossbow arm animations and how models, textures and bones work in Rise

The files used are ones originally ripped by JtheDuelist for the Arsenal of the Doomslayer mod for MHW.

I used the crossbow arm animation to lower the barrels after you shoot, the barrels go back up if there are more rounds in the magazine, otherwise they stay down until you reload.
The trigger also moves back and forth like this, though you can barely see it.

I recommend using Layer Any Weapon to use this weapon on more... shotgun-like weapons

Unzip the files and slap them in the fluffy manager, or in the Natives folder if you've got FirstNatives

Due to how crossbow arms work, they will briefly rotate in the opposite direction, especially when sheathing and unsheathing the weapon. Until I learn how to make custom animations for these, if ever, they'll just have those limitations. The same bone is also responsible for turning the barrel downwards after shooting and preventing the model from clipping into itself when sheathed
