About this mod

Makes shells, wyrmstake and wyvern's fire deal a portion of its damage as the element or status of your gunlance.

The specific numbers for how this mod works (Shelling, wyrmstake and wyvern's fire are all treated the same):

Raw (no element) Gunlance: 100% damage as physical damage (No more fire damage)
Elemental Gunlance: 75% damage as physical, 75% damage as elemental (for a total of 150% of a regular physical shell)
Status Gunlance: 50% damage as physical, 50% damage as status (works great with Normal shelling gunlances)

All formulas use the total of the original shell (Typically a 75% physical and 25% fire element) and distributes it:
Raw shells:
  • Physical: 100%
Elemental shells:
  • Physical: 75%
  • Elemental: 75% x Elemental Hitzone x ( elemental attack / 20 )
Status shells:
  • Physical: 50%
  • Status: 50% x ( status attack / 20 )
  • All shells share regular attacks' proc chance, meaning that in general, only 30% of attacks inflict status.
  • Compatible with both Status Pursuit and Drug Knowledge.

All shelling is compatible with other mods that affect shelling damage, such as Powered Shelling and my Gunlance Heat Gauge.
This is not compatible with Blighted. It will not cause crashes, but shells, wyrmstakes and Wyvern's Fires will not cause blight buildup.

Settings:
  • Can be toggled on and off
  • Recolored shells in the UI can be toggled on and off
  • Compatibility toggle for powered shelling (to handle the single-hit wyvern's fire)
