What is Fast Reload?

Fast reload is a "technique" that lets you cancel the shooting animation of the last bullet. To perform that, you'll need to wait until your're out of shooting animation after you shoot your second last bullet. Then you press rapidly with your last bullet and the game will allow you to shoot and reload at the same time, effectively cancel the shooting animation for the last bullet.

In more detail, you'll see this at the top right of the screen after you shoot a bullet:

If you keep shooting, it'll always show sidestep. But, if you wait for a little bit after shooting, it'll turn into this:

In this state, if you only have one bullet left, and rapidly click your shooting button, you'll be able to shoot and reload at the same time. This technique supports ammo that is neither a rapid shot (e.g. Normal bullet) nor having a high recoil (e.g. Spread bullet).

The mod implements this by detecting the state of your character. It'll stop clicking when you're using a supported ammo, have one bullet left, and is still in shooting animation. After you recover from the shooting animation, it'll start clicking again, thus performing fast reload.

I don't know if this is a bug or a technique. Use at your own discretion. The option is disabled by default.
