About this mod
In chains once bound to a guardian's duty, a silent power broke free beneath the endless sky. Now, in the grace of long, storied days, emerges the fierce flame of Draco—reborn and untamed.

When I saw that Arkveld had a blue power... but Draco was its main element, I thought: This needs fixing. This mod changes the look of the Guardian Arkveld and the regular Arkveld. I wish I could transfer that same glow from the Guardian to the regular one—it looks awesome! But hey, it’s just a first version.
It's an aesthetic mod or skin; it doesn't change attacks, elements, or any other major characteristic, and a new version that fixes some of the monster's details is absolutely possible.

Open up the RAR, move the folders into your Fluffy Manager mod folder, and you're good to go—everything’s ready!
Or you can take the PAK file from inside the RAR, rename it, and then copy it directly into your Monster Hunter Wilds root folder. Just follow the nomenclature, changing the ### with the 3 digits of the order you have:
- re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_###.pak.
ATTENTION!
Are you seeing this little bastard called the "fatal D3D error" popping up? Let’s break it down: it's your Adrenalin driver acting up. And yes, I'm telepathic—I know you've got an AMD GPU. The fix I handed to another user (and trust me, it'll work for you, too) is as follows:
- Back up your save.
- Uninstall the game.
- Download and install Adrenalin driver version 24.12.1, and be sure to disable automatic driver updates.
- Restart your computer.
- Reinstall the game (it might take a bit longer since it needs to rebuild the shaders with the new driver).
That’s it! Once done, your mods with PAKs should run smoothly. Apparently, the latest Adrenalin driver creates a loop or some other mischief when paired with the mod patch—a quirk not present in the earlier version. This might change down the road, either with a patch to REFramework or a fresh update from Adrenalin. Happy Hunting!
