this mod mainly does two things: restore the combo routes from Sunbreak, as well as balancing FRS by limiting its usage to encourage morph gameplay
If your quest party contains people who are NOT in your friend list or Link party
the mod will automatically disable itself
Moveset changes:
- Sword: Double Slash & Heavenward Flurry combos into Morph Double Slash*
- Axe: Overhead Slash & Forward Overhead Slash combos into Morph Rising Double Slash
- Sword: Rising Slash combos into Morph Slash**
- Sword: Overhead Slash & Rising Slash have increased movement distance
- Sword: Offset Rising Slash has less knockback distance upon successful parry
- Full Release Slash(FRS) now can ONLY be used after Element Discharge Finisher
- Offset: Follow-up Morph Slash is replaced with FRS that doesnt need to to be charged
- Power Axe mode activates Phial explosions on Axe attacks
- after ZSD, you'll be able to use Morph attack/FRS/dodge
- after Focus Strike Finisher Discharge, you'll be able to use dodge
- Unbridled Slash after Focus Strike Finisher Discharge can be replaced with Element Discharge Stab
note: while the input for the stab is the same as Unbridled, you still need to hold down one of the attack button to trigger ZSD latch on, just like you normally would - Rapid Morph fixed: now it properly speeds up the entire morph attack, rather than just the morphing part of the animation
- (experimental) added alternate input for ZSD: pressing Morph button DURING the stab attack of normal Element Discharge to trigger ZSD latch on
note: requires precise timing, pressing it too early will fail and cause repeated ED animation - more to be added...
the mod also comes with Motion Value changes to fit the intended gameplay
MV changes:
- restores every MV nerfs from Sunbreak >> Wilds (all Wilds MV buffs are kept as is)
- Morph Double Slash now has increase gauge recovery; Morph Rising Double Slash now has increased Amped gauge buildup
- Unbridled Slash now doesn't cost any gauge, and its Amped gauge buildup is increased
- Element Discharge & Zero Sum Element Discharge(ZSD) have increased number of hits
- (cosmetic) Element Discharge & ZSD & Mount Finisher now have better hit VFX & SFX
Known Issues:
- * sometimes you'd still use Morph Slash rather than Morph Double Slash, happens very rarely
** the change only applies to Left Rising Slash, Right Rising Slash still combos into Morph Double Slash; no fix until there's a more polished way to edit movesetfixed in v2.0
Moveset: install like every other Reframework based mods
MV: after v2.0, the MV changes have been reworked to use Motion Value Manager, install that mod as well as the preset provided here
