About this mod
Replaces some of the regular non-Guardian Arkveld weapons with a pallet swapped version. Makes the White parts blackish/grey and makes the blue glowing bits red to match dragon element. Also added certain Guardian Arkveld Armor pieces and Guardian Arkveld Palico Armor that have been palette swapped.

Works like any other visual mod. Requires REframework, and Loosefileloader turned on. Also works with Fluffy Mod manager, and is my recommended and preferred method of installation. Just drop the .zip file into your Fluffy Mod Manager.
The collection comes as either all the current weapons currently made, or you can install the weapons you want individually. Special model swapped versions will be their own standalone files.
The same logic applies for the Guardian Darkveld Guantlets Greaves, Waist, and all Palico Gear.
I have made several model swapped versions of my Darkveld palette swaps. Please check the photos and main files for reference.
The DB's come in two versions; one that still maintains the size of LS model, and another shrunk down to a more reasonable size. The CBs follow a similar logic with a (normal/slim) LS.
The GS version was much harder to make, so there are a few issues with it. Use it at your own discretion. To my knowledge, these issues are purely visual, and should not affect your gameplay. They include: The block animation is off. The hand holding the handle is turned strange, and the hand bracing the blade goes through the blade. I have no idea how to fix this. The handle is also a bit long as a result of trying to mod a LS handle onto the GS one. I could probably shorten it with a bit more tinkering, but I personally like the long handle. I likely won't be going back to fix this issue.
Made a Darkveld Lance with the Darkveld SnS shield model. 3 versions are available. No, this does not mean I have a Darkveld SnS I'm hiding from you guys. I just made the shield for the Lance mod. The shield does clip into the lance when blocking, but is generally completely unnoticeable during regular gameplay.

Some FAQs I'm expecting:
1. Hey, this says the Darkveld Weapon Collection. Why is there only 4 weapons? Are you dumb and can't count?
I only made these for personal use. These are just the weapons that I use frequently, so they're the ones I decided to mod.
2. Can you make "X" weapon into a Darkveld?
I can. It's honestly not that hard now that I've gotten the methodology down. Will I? Probably not unless my ADHD irks me to try a new weapon, and I decide to "Darkveld" it.
3. Can you make "X" to replace an Artian weapon?
I would if I could. I just don't have the technical know-how yet to get the physics of the models to correspond properly. For some of the weapons I already attempted to replace the Artian one, some of the parts looked as if they were being put in a blender. If you want it to apply to an Artian weapon, I would recommend you use any of the various weapon transmog/layer mods that already exist. They seem to work perfectly fine, replacing the Artian weapon with their corresponding Darkveld. To my knowledge, this mod by lingsamuel seems to work fine for me.
4. Hey, I really like your character customization. Can I have the customization code?
No. I don't mind sharing my personal mods for others to use, but I'm not in the business of having a bunch of mini me's running around. I know that even if I share my code, the chances of me running into my doppelgänger are negligible, but it's more a matter of principle than anything. It would annoy me knowing there are clones of me. Feel free to try to recreate my hunter from SS, but I won't be showing the code personally.
5. Can you do "X" mod?
I might be able to, but I likely won't be taking too many requests. If I post a mod on here, it's likely a mod that I made for my personal use.
6. Is there a way to make the metal bits of the Guardian Darkveld armors back to the lighter color they were originally?
Can I? Not currently. The issue is the metal bits and the rest of the armor are on the same color palette. In order to "Darkveld" something, I have to change that color palette. I don't have the technical know-how yet to separate the color palette for the pieces. Perhaps someone with the know-how could do that, and if they do, I have no issue with them posting their version. Hell, even I would prefer that, to be honest. I just don't know how to do it. Perhaps if I do get better at this, I will return and fix it.
