Simply drop the .rar to the mod folder. I will be working on long sword (Hope edge) as soon as possible. Adjust the proportion of several mesh parts to make it feel heavier, redraw the detail ID mask to assign right textures. For materias' I use the game's existing glass and liquid materials and toggle several parameters. For Long sword version, redraw the VFX ID mask, detail ID mask and edit VFX map to get rid of seams.
Important: Final Version requires the latest fluffy mod manager which support .pak texture file: https://www.patreon.com/posts/fluffy-mod-v3-mh-123737935 uninstall the old version, install the latest fluffy mod manager, drop the .rar file to monste hunter wilds mod folder.
How to apply to other GSs: Check this mod made by karam1001: Layered Weapon at Monster Hunter Wilds Nexus - Mods and community How to install: 1.Install reframework first and enable "Load Loose Files" in the panel. 2.Unzip the mod file, copy the two .pak files and paste under the game directory Steam\steamapps\common\MonsterHunterWilds
If you already have other mods like: "re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_002.pak" and "re_chunk_000.pak.patch_002.pak", simply replace "_002" in mine with "_003". Next time when you try to install mod with the same name, renaming them with "_004", "_005" and so one.
Update: Replace Hope Blade (GS) with Buster Sword, so that in intro cutscenes it will appear as Buster Sword.
