     Kursan is proud to present  Kummu monastery

Description from the original page;
Located on a high mountain shelf west of Suran and just down the road from Kummu shrine, Kummu Monastery is the lofty
compliment to an already beloved but remote pilgrimage site on the shores of Lake Amarya. It offers the weary pilgrim and traveler some commodities, while it’s great gate tower guards a major pass into the desolate regions beyond the mountains.

The Monastery features a temple dedicated to lord Vivec and celebrates his deeds in this area; there are shrines of blessing available here and relics to see. The temple has a library and for a simple task you can stay in a luxurious guest room with a view of the inner temple.
The monks have their living quarters in a great hall below the temple and live very simple;
there is a bakery in the great hall also and if you have no desire for the guest room, the monks let you sleep in their beds.
Two separate towers feature a blacksmith in one, and a trader and wine cellar in the other.
Special Kummu Monastery wine can be obtained. (Currently not NOM compatible i.e. does not quench thirst).
The great gate tower guarding the pass has a healer in its top with an interesting story.
There is a pavilion by a mountain cascade to rest and refresh, and between
the monastery and its gate by the road a vineyard hugs the hillside.
Colorful characters with unique dialogue and stories inhabit the monastery.
There are a number of unique furniture items.
Lots of nooks and crannies to explore…

INSTALLATION:
I recommend to use NMM via manual download, that is download manually to desktop then use NMM to install from there; or download manually and extract the files in the folder to the corresponding files in the Morrowind Data folder.

Special thanks to Runspect for the “Morrowind Decorative Stuff”, awesome new
furniture resources! Be sure to install the Meshes and Textures for them
to work!

Compatibility notes;
I am not aware of any other mods that occupy this particular spot, even so I kept ground level
changes at a minimum to avoid rips. However be aware that I have
substantially added static mountain pieces to the mountain range to have
a more dramatic backdrop for the Monastery and give the pass more
purpose.

This one has been sitting around my "vault" for some time and I had more plans for it, so I may return to it in future to add
more to the story.
I have not as much time for modding as I used to so I was eager to get a usable version out there; let me know what if
anything needs tweaking. Like I said I am aware that the story behind
the characters has much more potential.
Cleaned with Enchanted Editor.

Changelog:
Added the missing texture files and fixed pathway problem; be sure to copy
the "furn_runs" folders entirely into Meshes and Textures.
Also added two missing Icons for a shovel and the Wine bottles, copy directly
to your Icons folder. Everything should work now, enjoy!
Please note; there is now a link below to the "decorative stuff" furniture
resource. I have included all the files needed for the pieces used in
this mod from that resource pack, I tested it and it works without using
the entire resource pack. If however you run into a similar situation
as described by MM, then install the entire resource pack.
Feedback would be welcome.
I endorse "Canon statues colored" by ddfields, I think they work great
with the st. Delyn statue in the Kummu temple especially because the
default robe color is the same I chose for the monk outfits.

Special Note:
I will upload all my mods from "yesteryear" to the Nexus over the next few weeks. All these mods I created as
"Thondur" and were previously hosted only on "Planet Elder Scrolls" where they have been sitting for years.
Kummu Monastery was one of the last mods I made for Morrowind.
All my mods are also available at Morrowind Modding History, a really great site for Morrowind mods you should check it out!
Please understand that for now the mods are presented "as is" and I do not mod for Morrowind at the moment; in fact it has been so long that I do not even remember how I did some things I created in these mods. If there are any Bugs they willhave to wait or you have to fix them yourself. Fair warning. It is my hope to "get back into the game" as it were one of these days as I still care a great deal for this great game. While I mod and play mostly in
Skyrim now, Morrowind will always have the strongest emotional connection with me. Exploring it for the first time is an experience that will stay with me forever. I hope that you will enjoy some or all of my mods in your game, Cheers,
