The Sanguine Rose adds a fully featured Daedric Quest for Sanguine, the prince of hedonistic revelry, debauchery, and passionate indulgences of darker natures. An Ordinator has been sniffing out Sanguine's shrine and he wants you to take care of the nosy do-gooder in an unconventional way.
In November 2018, I held my 3rd Follower Appreciation Event through my Tumblr blog in which the Honorable Mention prize was a weapon mod. The runner up, detectivedickgymshoe, requested the Sanguine Rose. I have completed this request and turned it into a fully featured Daedric Quest for Sanguine.
To start the quest, find the entrance to Sanguine's shrine in the Lucky Lockup. This is a non-combat quest, so there is no minimum recommended level.
New Daedric artifact: the Sanguine Rose
Sanguine Rose summons a random Lesser Daedra including Herne, Xivilai, and Dark Seducers
New statue for Sanguine in the style of the vanilla statues to fit seamlessly into the game
Immersive voice acting for Sanguine courtesy of LondonRook
New shrine to Sanguine includes revelers with unique dialogue and greetings
New multi-path pacifist Daedric quest for Sanguine
Includes option to betray Sanguine to the ordinators, witness and profit from the consequences
Requires the MCP GetSpellEffects tweak which enables the detection of enchantment effects as well. For now, the Sanguine Rose enchantment will not work in OpenMW until this feature is implemented.
This mod is intended to be completed after any quests which utilize Berel Sala as he goes missing at the end.
