MWSE-Lua mod

This mod aims mod developers and those working on their install to help diagnose issues. Have you ever wanted to know which texture that rock is using, so you can replace it? What head the NPC has so you can change it? What the heck the value in this script is, so you can debug it? This mod lets you do all that and more, at a glance.

Requirements & Installation:
This mod uses MWSE. If you encounter any issues please post a report, ideally on the MWSE bug tracker. You can download the latest nightly build from the link below.

This mod requires Morrowind Graphic Extender XE. Older versions will not work with MWSE 2.0+. Additionally, it will require the latest nightly build of MWSE. Be sure to run the MWSE updater before installing this mod.

To install the mod, extract the archive into your Data Files folder. There is no ESP to activate.

Features:
  • Displays an additional menu when the console is open, showing information about the currently selected reference.
  • By default, this menu only shows up if you control+clicked on the reference, though this behavior can be changed in the MCM.
  • Contains i18n definitions to allow the mod to be easily translated.
  • If an asset listed is in a BSA file, it will tell you which one.
  • Displays the following information: Reference ID and its source, base object and its source, object type, reference's cell, mesh path, all textures used (including dynamically applied ones), ownership information (including required rank/global), leveled spawn information (including position of parent spawner), script, script variable values/types, security information (locked state, trap and its source, key and its source), lua data both permanent and temporary (can be easily copied to clipboard with a click).
