About this Mod:
This mod adds several new branches and other tweaks to the two quests involving rogues staying at the Halfway Tavern in Pelagiad.
  • Adds option to report Nels Llendo to the guards of Pelagiad with your testimony, and Nelos Onmar with evidence (his note to Maurrie) for a small bounty. Both can be found in the Pelagiad dungeon after they are arrested.
  • You can attempt to arrest them yourself if you're in the Imperial Legion and you are aware of their crimes (note that Nels Llendo doesn't commit a crime against female characters, so a female Legionnaire will not have this option with Nels).
  • In the vanilla game it seemed like Maurrie was trying to set you up with a romantic partner at the end of her quest, so I added the ability to (unsuccessfully) flirt with either Barnand Erelie or Emusette Bracques if you complete the quest for Maurrie.
  • If you're playing a female character and refuse Nels Llendo's kiss, you can follow up with him in the Halfway Tavern if you want to.
  • Nels Llendo says in the vanilla version he is a good friend to have without giving any particular reason, but now he will specifically refer to his training services.
  • The dialogue responses and journal entries are now less opinionated (no belitting Maurrie or disgust for Nels Llendo).
This mod has been tested and cleaned with tes3cmd. As of this writing, however, I'm still quite new to creating mods for Morrowind, so I am happy to get feedback.

About the "Choice and Consequence" Mod Series:
Vanilla Morrowind quests generally offer less choice, and less consequence for choices made, than mod projects such as Tamriel Rebuilt and Project Tamriel-affiliated mods, not to mention the later Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. The result for me is that despite a desire to go back to the TES3 vision of Tamriel, it's hard to go back to Vvardenfell's quests without wondering what could be. What if I could approach this quest in another way or side with someone else? What if NPCs reacted more to my actions, or my factions gave me exclusive options?

Well, why wonder? I've always wanted to learn the Construction Set and what goes into crafting RPG content, so here we are. This series is an attempt to systematically go through the vanilla game's side quests, and give them some lore-friendly vanilla-plus-style expansions.

There are other mods out there that tweak vanilla content, but I haven't seen any attempts to comprehensively go through everything. I can't claim for sure I will either, but I will until I get bored at least. I still have plenty to learn after all.

Mods I make are in general free to use without prior permission, but please use common sense. That is, try to credit when feasible, don't claim it's yours, etc.
