Changelogs
Version 2.1.1
restored wares and non wares options.
Version 2.1
fixed companion share bug.
Version 2.0
NPCs now remember a single hat to wear! No longer do they all have a bottomless pocket of every available hat to select at random. They will pick one and stick to it the entire game! Thank you Merlord.
added a second OAAB straw hat to the rain leveled lists.
Repackaged to include an optional Wares Aware esp so that these new hats can be found at vendors. (I did not include OAAB items only the new items added by this mod) Requires Wares (ofc) https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/49205
Version 1.5.1
Cleaned the mod up of all its unused assets, trimmed 524kb. Fixed missing texture.
Version 1.5
Big update to the code and bug fixes thanks to Merlord. The mod will now function as advertised. New light bonemold hat asset created by Ruffin Vangarr has been added to ash storm leveled list.
Version 1.1
Changed the leveled lists so that NPC's only have a 50% chance of getting a random piece of headwear in bad weather. NPCs wearing robes will still always put their hood up.
Version 1.0
Initial release
Robe'n'Hood is the LUA child of mods like "Boys in the Hood" and "Wear a Mask". Like these mods Robe'n'Hood gives NPCs something to wear in poor weather conditions. NPCs that are wearing a robe will always get the matching OAAB hood in bad weather, others may don a hat if it is raining or a mask if there is an ashstorm. Guards, slaves, and dreamers have been excluded from receiving anything but every other NPC in the game, including ones added from other mods, can receive proper headwear if they do not already have something on. NPCs will take off their headgear when the weather fully clears up again. Additionally there is a slider that works independently to allow you to set the density of OAAB hoods you would like to see in the game regardless of the current weather conditions. You can set this to 0 and NPCs will still put their hood up in bad weather or you can set this to 100 and every NPC in the game that is wearing a vanilla robe will put on a matching OAAB hood. The default value is 33%.
This mod requires the latest MWSE so unfortunately it is incompatible with OpenMW
======== Credits ========
Huge thanks to Spammer21 for writing the LUA code and to Merlord for testing and revising the code. Two of my all time favorite morrowind modders who have made tons of awesome creations using LUA. I would also just like to thank Nullcascade for bringing LUA into the fold. This has been a community effort. Many assets from other mods are used. I want to thank Melchoir Dhark and the OAAB_Data team for its wonderful hoods. Thanks to Ruffin Vangarr for a new light bonemold hat asset. Thanks to Shehriazan and Reizeron for the assets I procured from "Ashur-Tuls' Ashlander Articles" and "Redvayns' Humble Headgear". I would also like to thank Von Djangos and vonwolfe for inspiring this project and for assets used from "Boys in the Hood" and "Wear a Mask". Special thanks to the MMC for general support and counseling. Last but definitely not least thanks to Bethesda Softworks for developing Morrowind and the Construction Set. Special thanks to Sephumbra for fixing the companion share bug!
