A very easy change I did In the creation kit. To make The security skill use the luck attribute instead (As intelligence didn't make any sense for a thief build, gameplay-wise)

I decided to make a simple change in the creation kit: to make the security skill use the luck attribute instead of the intelligence one to make it have a use other than giving you favorable dice rolls in combat, casting and the loot that you can get from a container, this way you can also get a +5 bonus to more easily level it up aswell (as it's the only attribute that can't get a +5 bonus without this mod either)
